about VIN Numbers:
- VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number
- VIN number is typically a 17 digits number
- Any vehicle manufactured after 1981 has a VIN number
- The letters I, O and Q are not used in VIN numbers
(In order to avoid confusion, especially when hand written) - VINs are located on the dashboard and door jambs of cars and other 4-wheelers
- VINs are located on the frames of motorcycles
